THE BINFIELD WARFIELD & WINKFIELD ARTS WEEK - Sunday 27th October to Sunday 3rd November in Autumn Half Term Week - promotes and encourages active participation and support for the very wide range of arts and crafts available in our local area for all ages.  Our events in Arts Week (see programme below) are linked to family hobbies you can do at home, local clubs to join, courses to attend, concerts to see, community workshops, schools and even college courses

Arts Week is fully funded and organised by the three Bracknell Forest Parishes of Binfield, Warfield & Winkfield as it has been for the last 15 years.

The Art and Crafts Exhibition at Brownlow Hall runs from 1st-3rd November 11-4.00pm each day. It is free and un-ticketed

19-Mar: PAINT WEIRD MONSTER PIGGY BANKS FOR CHILDREN: Yes this year Jonathan Greenyer has created monster/piggy/piggy bank thingiees (SEE IMAGES RIGHT) to paint and take home. Have you painted Jonathan's papier mache monsters before? No? Then this year take part in a new monster painting experience.  You can paint and take home unique and weird (yes weird ) monsters all based on pigs & Piggy Banks & other creatures &  thingies (did I say thingy twice) & papier mache. So yes there are shark/pig monsters, airplane/pigs monsters, pig/Kevin monsters. And yet all are usable piggy banks. 29-Fox: KNITTING A TINSEL HEDGEHOG: A workshop with Andrea Stephens, Sue Brown and Roberta Kaye. With supplied pattern, wool and two sets of needles Andrea will teach you how to knit a delightful cuddly hedgehog. YOU WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO KNIT STOCKING STITCH ( plain and purl) and you will knit at your own individual pace. If you have size 5mm (UK size 6) and 3.75mm (UK size 9) needles please bring them to the session. A contribution of £5 will be collected on the night towards the wools plus two sets of knitting needles or just £3 if you require only the wool. You will take home the part knitted hedgehog, needles , instructions for completion, wool for snout and paws eyes and nose.

41-Car: FABRIC MARBLING AND SEWING MACHINE SKILLS: Design, decorate and produce your own fabric bag using your own electric sewing machine.  You bring your own sewing machine and some thread [of any colour] and Val Leung the Tutor will provide the additional materials and face to face help to master your machines (if required) and then you can discover just how creative you can be making this bag.   So, you may never have tried Fabric Marbling, it is a novel and exciting way of adding design to fabrics and will be included into the finished bag.
