There are just so many ways that you can become involved in the "arts" in our area. Here is a list of groups and organisations in our local and surrounding area that you might like to explore. In all cases you should contact the people listed if you want more information, as the Parish Councils have no involvement with the running or the administration of any of these groups.

The Binfield Art Group meets every Tuesday at the Binfield Club in the village centre from 10 to 12 am. Membership numbers are limited to15 painters. We are often fully subscribed ( there is a waiting list ). Open to Binfield Club members.
Each term Jane asks the students for their suggestions for future projects.
There are no classes during term holidays but we meet as a group and paint.
A group of local artists, who simply get
together to paint, and to enjoy the company of other artists.
New members are always welcome.
Brilliant , friendly, inspiring art classes led by local artist Aurora Spain in acrylics, silk painting, inks, watercolour, mixed media and more. Join us to learn techniques, colour theory and good composition. Explore and experiment with different media and have fun on your creative journey. Small friendly group. All abilities welcome.

A by invitation lively and interactive group for experienced artists to meet other like minded artists interested in developing their creative approaches and techniques
We meet monthly to bounce creative ideas off each other; to critique our latest work; and to challenge our very ideas on art. There are no art lessons or tutors.
We also enthusiastically seek-out opportunities to exhibit and sell our work, organising exhibitions every month at various locations in the local area. There is a waiting list for new members.
There are a number of art groups within the U3A but as the name suggests this group only uses watercolour paint, no gouache etc. The Group is of mixed ability and experience. There are no courses or formal tuition but help and advice is given on an informal basis and we help each other. Annual membership of Bracknell Forest U3A is required before joining any of the U3A interest groups.

Tutoring for watercolour painting with class demonstrations at each meeting with Sera Knight SWA. Other media is also welcome and will receive assistance and guidance. Anyone wanting to paint slowly and gradually is also welcome.
We Hold monthly evening meetings to watch Professional painters demonstrate using all mediums, with a camera and projector for large screen displays enabling the audience to see close ups. We also offer several all-day workshops at cost, painting with professional tutors; 2 exhibitions per year; coach outings to art related venues at cost; painting days for practice.

Art Group for painting in all media and drawing. Meetings
include demonstrations and tutor groups, on an occasional basis, with a
programme of outdoor painting during the summer months. We hold two major
exhibitions a year usually held in the United Egham Church in Egham
High Street. Some of our members will accept commissions.

A social group to enjoy a wide range of hands on Craft activites and board games such as Scrabble, Chess and Bridge
We are a friendly and successful local AmDram group that puts on a variety of plays from comedy to the more serious and always welcome new members whether it is to act or to help behind the scenes. We usually put on two productions a year - in April and October at St Peter's Church Hall, Hatchet Lane, Cranbourne, Winkfield. Our Members' social calendar includes walks, picnics, pub nights, themed evenings and visits to other local productions/shows. We also offer Coaching workshops on character development, voice and projection.
Group dancing is popular the world over and this is your opportunity to really let your hair down, join in and learn some enjoyable traditional dances from the UK and from much further afield as well. It's an uplifting way to start the week and great fun. Open to all, no experience required

The Bracknell Forest Society, Bracknell Forest's Civic Society (formed in 2007) is a politically independent organisation and aims to celebrate Bracknell Forest - its green spaces, its vibrant towns and community and to encourage residents to take pride in where we live. We are represented on several local committees where we can make your voice heard on matters concerning health, the environment, history, planning and faiths & beliefs.

Bracknell Camera Club (formed 1954) is one of the foremost photographic clubs in the home counties. We are respected for the quality of images our members create as well as being renowned for the friendly environment that exists throughout the club. Bracknell Camera Club welcomes members of all photographic standards, from complete beginners to professionals. A camera club is an excellent place for novices to learn. We make you feel at home and whatever your level of skill, from simple compact cameras to the latest DSLRs, you will receive advice and encouragement from a wealth of experience that the club members have to offer. Some members specialise in technical or photographic genre, and are happy to give informal advice.
